About Silva - Entrepreneur Silva's entrepreneurial spirit was ignited with a passion after walking out of an abusive marriage with zero money. She was motivated to create her own financial and personal independence. Armed only with one small credit card, Silva ventured into the real estate industry and sold over 1 million dollars in property within the first 3 months and totaled 5 million dollars in sales within her first year in 1986 when interest rates were close to 20%, by pure determination. She was presented the Rookie of the Year Award by the Fred Sands Company soon followed by becoming the youngest assistant manager in the organization. It was here that she began to facilitate her first real estate sales and training workshops. A smart negotiator, Silva bought, renovated and sold homes in the 1980's with no money down, in Beverly Hills. In 1992 she launched her own independent real estate brokerage firm and combined her general contractors license to build, design and develop properties. Her projects include many homes of her own and for celebrity clients with a new focus on developing healthy, wealthy and eco-friendly lifestyles. Inspired by the unique metamorphosis she facilitated with home development, Silva now empowers others with the ways to chart their own path through life development training courses and programs. Silva started AnJak Communications, Inc., a life development publishing company and a non-profit organization, The Passion and Dreams Funding, Inc. whose mission is to end poverty, homelessness and violence and develop personal empowerment opportunity for troubled women and children to realize hopes and dreams.
